I've eaten lambs' goolies in Egypt along with many other unmentionable parts. They are all delicious.. After all, eggs are part of the reproductive system and not many people baulk at those. As for black pudding, I love it (and haggis)!

I think I've seen black pudding in Nicosia Liza, Orphanides supermarket if I recall...

Looking forward to coming back to Cyprus and having some snails... yum...

My favourite is pulya or in greek i think it is amberabulya, man i am so addicted to those little birds i can eat at least 2 dozen in one sitting with of course some 31 :D

I was a bit reticent at first, but being a world-class winkle-eater (steady folks, that's a small shellfish that looks like a snail), I thought I'd give them a go and they were amazing. Can't remember the name of the restaurant, it was the quite expensive one in Nicosia where the restaurant bought all the houses around the original square... I'll find out its name when I speak to the wife, she's going there in a couple of days (jealous)... :cry:
