14,000ft, huh? That's not just being a little prince, that's being among Gods. That's a thousand feet higher than I've ever been - it must feel wonderful. You do feel light and ethereal up there, don't you? Are you going to sleep at that altitude? That's a really weird experience.

Anyway, tell me why you are waiting for the sun to go down.

I spent over a week at that hight once - sleeping was sleeping. Once the Sun goes down it can get very cold very fast. Saw one lady who tried to wash her hair, and it froze in a wierd shape.

We had to keep clothing with us in our sleeping bags to stop the sweat in it freezing solid.

Watching the Sunset can be magic, though I think Sunrise is better, but my, the stars at night: so many and so bright! .

Anyone lost this today?

... so if anyone has lost it... it now comes complete with GG attached ... unless anyone has some bolt-cutters.

its good you're forgiving ......I couldnt sleep for a couple of days, the heart pumps a little faster and i guess pumps adrenaline throughout the body, i read the prince quote you posted and it reminded me of the book "the little prince" if you have ever read it. I was actually going to write you a little thing where the "little prince" waits for the sun to go down and the moon to come up and then would fish the moon with a hook, go down the mountain run across a few states, while holding onto the moon with my hook and string, and then jump into the ocean swim and bring the moon to my friend "GIG"....kinda of corny now that i think about it.....but the feeling up there does get a little ethereal as someone said......
