Desmond Tutu: “Mother Teresa!!!”
Mother Teresa: “How art thou O’ great African servant of the Lord?”
Desmond Tutu: “Couldn’t be better… I am picnicking by the Zambezi river with the deaf & dumb on a jolly day here in Mozambique!”
Mother Teresa: “Oh how lovely, the angels must be rejoicing!”
Desmond Tutu: “Indeed and your self? Err, please hold for a minute! I think a crocodile just swallowed one of the unfortunate children!”
Desmond Tutu: “If only the poor thing had a voice we’d be able to hear its screams early on.”
Mother Teresa: “God almighty!!! Did you lose a child there?”
Desmond Tutu: “My dear, what is one child when there are thousands being born every day and living TOGETHER! What is one beast when countless herds roam the plains TOGETHER! What is one country when…” <interrupted>
Mother Teresa: “DESMOND!”
Desmond Tutu: “Yes, great Mother…”
Mother Teresa: “Let us discuss that some other time! Now did you send me those beads?”
Desmond Tutu: “How could I forget dearest? One fine set of ivory rosary beads is winging its way to you blessed be their long and arduous journey!”
Mother Teresa: “Good… thank you so much! Oh and have you retrieved the child?”
Desmond Tutu: “Which one? Our conversation has kept me busy but I’m told the men have luckily managed to retrieve a leg of the one that jumped in to save the other!”
Mother Teresa: “Oh my God! That is terrible!”
Desmond Tutu: “Yes, we have narrowly escaped a corpse-less burial, praise the Lord!”
