22.2 yards for a throw in thats pretty good isnt it and the hangtime on those goalie kicks was pretty good, Americans cant understand why they just dont pick up the ball and run with it....like this guy below

Let's face it. Americans love stats, they love the technical aspects of a sport all round.

Goals, assists, rebounds, games started, minutes played, field goals, field goal attempts, field goal percentage, 3 pointers, 3 point percentage, free throws, free throw attempts, offensive rebounds, defensive rebounds, steals, blocks, points, penalties in minutes, passing yards, yards per pass attempt, longest pass play, passing touchdowns, interceptions thrown, etc etc.

Soccer doesn't cater.

i think you are right Cap, its hard to pick out who the good players are without any stats....soccer is different, i think, not sure, that at the university level thats how soccer is coached. i think thats why American soccer is very endurance/technical then creative or spontaneous.

Yup, must be.
Frustrating opening a players profile and all they have is games played and goals scored.
Keepers don't get credited with saves and shutouts.
Defenders don't get credited with 'steals' or 'blocks' or anything.
Midfielders don't get credited with 'assists'.

Shots on target, shots off target and ball possession for the team is basically all they provide on the boxscore.
Basically, all you have to work with is visual information when analyzing players.

I think another reason why Americans don't take Soccer seriously is FIFA's reluctance on implementing goal-line and camera technology.
They literally let the refs play God, regardless of whether their decisions are glaringly incorrect on slow mo re plays.
Because the goal margins are so narrow, important games are literally won and lost on dubious refereeing decisions that are non reversible EVEN after slo mo replays from all angles clearly show the opposite.
The injustices in Soccer are massive.
Is it no wonder fans burn down the stadiums?
