Well it seems that this month, March 2013, is a very unusual one in that it has an remarkable five Long Weekends with 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays, which is a once in 823 years occurrence...!!!

Wrong!

The calendar follows a 28-year cycle (not 14). Because there are 7 months (any month with 31 days) each year that could fulfill this promise and 7 days a week, it will occur once a year - on average! You can check these months the past 28 years:
