Get Real! wrote:miltiades wrote:No mate, an imaginary creator, the same one that created vermin, created ...everything, including babies born with deformities, Siamese twins for example. One marvels at the creations attributed to an imaginary entity.
Babies are born with imperfections in accordance with the imperfect biological dynamics of this planet, and that’s why Man has no chance even in a trillion years of ever being in a position to unravel cosmic riddles or anything outside of his realm.
Man is here
temporarily with a limited capacity in everything, just enough to serve his one and only assigned purpose. Exploring the cosmos isn’t one of them.
Not just yet anyway…
You are contradicting yourself Get Real. Don't
you claim that you have found the truth and that you know how the universe was "created", what is the "purpose" of humans, what happens after we die etc? Aren't you a human too? How could you and other theists possibly know what you claim you know?
Everything ever said or written on this planet was said or written by humans. The difference is that some humans base their beliefs on wishful thinking and fill everything that is unknown with myths about Gods, while other humans base their beliefs on facts that can be proven and accept that certain things are currently unknown.
So maybe you should follow your own advice, accept that you are an insignificant man that can't possibly know everything beyond what is currently humanly possible, and learn to live with the fact that certain things are and will possibly remain unknown to you forever.
