Its in the bible mate, read it.
Noah's flood is not the only place where God displays these horrific tendencies toward mindless slaughter. There are several other examples, search and you will find them. Just take a look at this.

Isaiah chapter 13, God paints this word picture:
Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children.
Is this the loving god or an imaginary fairy tale.

It's called tough loving.

...and yet there are the stories of Jesus, in the New Testament, the few i have learned are not so hard to understand. Charity is a powerful force, as is demonstrated with the sermon on the mount; how a basket with some fish and bread came back in abundance.

...who goes into the desert without food? Yet they followed, afraid to reveal to each other their store, And when, He, rested they despaired, hungry; what was their Lord to do? Grace, all his, for them, they waited secretly eating their own, sated when the basket came to them they shared: a miracle, new thinking is, isn't it?

...Frank Zappa, my man, this, he says, was one of his epiphanies, in his younger years.

Just wanted to share this. I find these women incredibly beautiful. Their faith is so strong.

Can you convince them there are no forces available that science has not yet defined?

Belarussians are very religious and follow their Orthodox Christianity observing mostly all that is required of them, fasting, praying etc.

My wife, ( she has now been upgraded form my other third ) observes all the requirements of the church, she is fully aware of my views and she.....prays for me

On my last recent visit, a couple of weeks back, at a family dinner gathering, once again I was the ....oldest, and contrary to my wife's request not to discuss either politics or religion I persuaded her to allow me a few questions.
My first question was , Do you believe in God ? All hands but one raised, that of my wife's brother in law.
My second question asked how many liked Putin, all hands were raised !
My final question asked who amongst us is the ...oldest ? All fingers pointed at me
