I don't want a prestigious research post as I don't function well in teams.

When you next come to Cyprus send me a PM here and we’ll arrange a meet at my place and I’ll take you for a tour down my computing memory lane. Alrighty?

Is it funny or stupid.

person A: I am smart.
person A: I believe X.
therefore X is true.

Science though, which is above all these nonsense says: expert opinion doesn't count, only EVIDENCE does.

Common sense will take you a long way…

Just as your family car cannot traverse the universe neither is Earth’s science valid outside of our realm.

Our planet’s makeup is unique, our atmospheric properties are unique, and everything we have devised and invented is designed for our environment alone including much of our Maths which would not be valid for use anywhere else.

We are clueless as to what’s out there, what it’s made of, what makes it tick, and there are probably laws, conditions, materials, and other phenomena we know absolutely nothing about.

And there’s only so much one can assume from fuzzy pictures taken by Man’s instruments that cannot even penetrate a fraction of the universe so we need to keep our feet firmly on the ground when it comes to our expectations from “science”!

Have a look at NASA’s website… after spending umpteen billions of dollars over many decades, all they have on offer for visitors is a massive collection of fuzzy pictures of bright lights. And that’s as far as it’s ever going…

Man would be wiser to concentrate on the doable right here on planet Earth and forget about inter-galactic adventures and green horses because it’s just not gonna happen.

In fact there’s not enough lifetime in Man to travel anywhere worthwhile even if he had the vehicle to get there... a newborn baby strapped in a super galactic cruiser would probably die of old age before even covering 1% of the distance to the next solar system let alone galaxies!
