A recent study suggests that neither Greece nor Germany can lay claim to being the birthplace of Humanity, but rather it is was in England' s Green and pleasant land, in nesoi Brettaniai, Bretannikē, the Island of Albion, nēsos Iernōn kai Albiōnōn, (a name Pre-dating Pytheas by some centuries) though if it was not known by any of those names at the time - indeed if the locality was given a name it would likely be a sort of squeak.....,

see https://www.app.pan.pl/article/item/app004082017.html reporting the finding of teeth of a mammal thought to be an ancestor of current living placental mammals, and thus Humans....

:) And why not if we go by Oracle's calculations that ignore Africa, Mesopotamia, Assyria, etc, and the Levant!

Truth be told England is the birthplace of many things.

It is not where you are born that is important, it is how you grow up and, as a species, develop over time !
