He's comparing Cypriots to “golotzia”. In GC lingo “golotzia” means gourds, zucchinis, pumpkins, and others in that family of vegetables.

Kolozes are Zucchinis. Like our Kologasi is the best; of course there are kologeros too, but that's a different story.

At a closer observation, the Turkish version is twice as long as the Greek version!

The GC version does not have the full story, it starts from the moment he says I wrote something 2 years ago. So you are correct that GC version starts about half way which makes the TC version twice as long.

Looking for a new car, I thought I’d let email do the walking by typing out my tech needs and then emailing it to about a dozen brands to see what they have on offer.

Sometimes you can call your wife a kologouie.. for instance you can use it in a sentence “ Ra ma eisai telia kologouie?”
