Especially after a MODERATOR like Piratis posted a Twin Towers offencive pic and called it a joke.

And one wonders why The USA even spends a second thinking about Cyprus.

I think (and it is a very serious thought) that we need to host a Comedy Convention on the Green Line and invite all the best stand-up comedians around the world to attend. I am sure they could find a lifetime's worth of comedy in Cyprus. It is the only thing that keeps my sanity about the whole thing and maybe having a mirror held up by the world's funny wo/men could teach us a thing or 3 about ways forward. If not, will be damn funny listening...

You do realise when a comedian doesn't do well on stage they say they 'died' but it's only a saying?

Mind you, some of the supposedly serious posts here do make me laugh. Maybe you could just arrange an open debate with some of the more 'inflexible' posters here (no names, you know who you are)...... That'd be guaranteed to bring the house down.
