Barzani has just stated that they will attack any Turkish soldier that attempts to cross the border. I am sure he wouldnt make such a comment unless he had the US behind him.

I actually read papers from all around the world, i wouldn't exactly count on "Fox TV or CNN" to give me anything worthwhile and i suggest you do the same.

Turkey is planning to build a barrier similar to the ones of the Israelis and there is probably much deeper reasons for the US not wanting us to move in, investment is probably not their biggest worries at the moment, us finding the weapons that the US had "lost" in the hands of the dead PKK terrorists wouldn't have anything to do with it i bet, and god knows what more we will find that would tie them to the US once we get in there. However are you not surprised that America is not warning us, she is just asking us not to move in because the fucking Pesmerge and Barzani supporters will retaliate to defend their positions, so it will not be a very straight forward operation however if no one is going to do anything about the PKK then Turkey WILL and has every right to do so, and no one can stop us, in fact everyone will HAVE to support us since we are fighting an internationally recognized terrorist organization within our legal rights while helping the West fight their so called "terrorists", so why wouldn't anyone supports us, unless of course they are closely related to the PKK or seriously hypocritical Wink

I think Turkey should push a "either you are with us or against us" policy within the international community and not leave any hole to hide for these PKK animals other then the mountains and then wipe them out one by one like rats with the terrorists nightmare, helicopters! Laughing

And this DID work in the past genius, how do you think we have this new pet called Abdullah Ocalan rotting in his little island prison if it wasnt for us pushing everyone to cooperate?

The PKK attacks had stopped for a long time but now surprisingly they are finding the audacity to start attacking us while counting on the US, however the US has given them the boost to uprise and then left them to their fate within the hands of Saddam and his new Biological weapons before and it can very well happen again.

Hey Kid , since when did the PKK attacked Cyprus !!

Turkey will end up doing it if you ask me. I'm sure the PKK wants them to aswell....Turkey have said that even if they do decide to invade, it's not going to happen till next month and I have a feeling that the PKK will attack before then just to provoke them.

If they do then not even Erdogan will be able to hold the military back.

I just heard 12 Turkish soldiers were ambushed on the border, by the PKK. I am sure Erdogan and the military will come under increased preasure to react.

They should just do it! It's completely justified if you ask me...40.000 dead and they're still trying to tell Turkey to "show restraint" while they sit and do nothing themselves!!! Rolling Eyes

Enough is enough....Turkey needs to flex those muscles!

Just watching the news now! Apparently the US has asked Turkey not to act "immediately"....they probably need time to ask back for the weapons they gave the PKK! Laughing

The PJAK, which is an offshoot of the PKK killed 3 Iranian soldiers yesterday and took one hostage. They seem to be using Norther Iraq aka the Kurdish state in Iraq as there launch pad. The USA doesnt view them as terrorists, yet they seem to be very similar how do you guys view this?? The Tuscaloosa news gives rojaciwan.com a PKK web site and shows photos of the captured soldiers. The web sight is in Kurdish and Turkish. They have a map of there Greater Kurdistan lands within Armenia, Iraq,Iran, Syria and Turkey. My Turkish is very limited, so I cant make much out. PS How does the PKK have a web site when they are recognized as a terrorist organization??

If Iraq is partitioned in three zones, one of them being Kurdisttan, will Turkey recognise them? Since they will be a distinct people, with separate nationality, culture and religion? Priniciples explained by Mr Gul on his visit to Cyprus and thereby justifying the partitioning of our island? See how it feels when the shoe is on the other foot!
