Follow the sharrows’
To avoid the climate canary
For green is a snowclone.
I julie,
And you come
But he is lactard
To the milk of human kindness.
I waterboard
The decider
About his flog
I feel I have pwn’ed him
But he holds tight
To his data valdez
The fox lips
Spew Islamic macaca moments
That stay the course
We wait the sudden jihad syndrome
And soon he will be plutoed. |
And I thought I was insane... |

'Fraid that is a bit beyond my ken at this time of the night zan, nice words, very deep, I tend to express my own works in much simpler terms. |
Try the link....It will give you the translation......Another poem I thought was not going to be taken seriously...
I am no trained poet and only started to write for my sons when they were younger and then for the school library by request and did not know if I even liked poetry but am always surprised by what is liked. The ones I think are good don't get comments but one I wrote about a lamppost that I nearly threw in the bin was voted into their yearly book by my peers. Good comments on it too. Check it out. It's called Lethargy. |

The best line is plagiarised
. . . and what's "Plutoed" ? . . . demotion from being a planet to just being big rock whirling round in space
This is constructive criticism remember Zan . . . (well mine is; I don't think GR! is bothered! ) |

I gave up on Gr the moment he used the words " I thought I was mad"...Now that's poetry...
http://www.americandialect.org/2006.WOTY.noms.ballot.pdf
You might have missed the link I gave as the KEY to the poem and also missed the fact that it is a poem and in modern poetry there are no rules...Traditionalist don't like that and prefer to make things rhyme and have a rhythm but not being a real poet I just feel my way.....Like Elikos' great poem.....
Sorry Eliko but the wolves are turning the thread to me when it was all about you....
Please feel free to ask more questions though.... |

Well you're an easier target than slippery-tongued Eliko
(or should that be silvery-tongued )
Seriously Zan, since you are a glutton for punishment . . . . post something else . . . |

Zanny
--------------------------------------
There was a little Turkish boy,
and poems were his game…
But little did he know one day,
that he would go insane!
He’d post them on the forums…
He’d send them far and wide…
Until there came a Phoenix,
and tossed them all aside!
Another man was watching
But couldn’t keep quiet no more…
He rolled on the floor and muttered,
Get real you silly bore!

I gave you the link to the site in which all my poems are so knock yourself out kid............If you think that I am going to take any comments from you or Gr the coward, seriously then the glutton wishes to feats a bit more.....Hope you do not just post and run away like GR does on all the other threads..........I mean...If you are going to have a second more potent persona GR at least stick to the script... |

I'm sorry Zanny . . . I thought it was serious stuff and meant only for Eliko's discerning eye . . . I'll peruse after this:
There was a young man called GR!
Who's mind I do feel by and large,
Was an asset to Cypriots, both near and so far.
Until, bored by a lack of romance,
He befriended a young Turk, by the queer name of Zan.
Together they posted, till dawns early light,
Setting the world's problems, to rights.
They dawdled with high moral tricks,
Until Phoenix accused them of having their brains in their . . .
I can't think how to finish it! |
