At least us Irish were given the opportunity to vote on the Lisbon Treaty. The French and Dutch also rejected it. We made an informed descision to vote NO. The Cypriot parliment is voting on it on the 3rd of July, I wonder if any of its members have actually read the Treaty document. Many of our Irish public representatives, including our taoiseach (prime minister) admitted they had'nt - it was too long was their excuse.! |
