No, you allowed the jews expelled under Ferdinand and Isabella because they constituted a good new tax base after you had either killed or driven off the Greek Christians. Btw, you know you expelled the Greek Christians, and then you needed new viaducts for Constantinople, and when the Ottoman Engineers tried to build new ones, they totally fucked it up, so they needed to call the Greeks back to build it for them. |
