| You know, I keep asking myself, how on earth did a low, inferior civilization from the Steppes of Central Asia and Mongolia take over a highly advanced, sophisticated, and old civilization like the Byzantine Empire? What went wrong? Could it be that Turks were better at murdering, sacking and pillaging, vandalizing and destroying? I guess that's it! |

| Iran Forever, we Greek Cypriots arent looking for a Turk hating band wagon. Thats not what we want, because preaching what your preaching is never gonna allow us to live in peace in Cyprus, in any future settlement. Every religion is somewhat racist except for their own religion. Thats what most seem to not understand, we're all the same. Just gotta learn to get along. Education and mixing with others in your own neighborhoods is the only way to break that taboo. Sorry, not break it, but lessen it alot. Its all a matter of building relationships. But when Turkey closes their borders for over 30 years and then opening them up to wreap benefits without dishing in anything but hate and headaches, I cant see the light to how this Cyprus problem is going to end. |
