My mother passed away in a private clinic where she spent the last two and a half days of her life, and I went in next morning to foot the bill for €2,430! And I wasn't even offered a cup of coffee or tea, or even a single word of consolation!

Many thanks. That was some time ago, actually. I must say, in fairness to the private health sector in Cyprus, that there is a private eye clinic in Limassol I have been too that is outstanding.

There are British plumbers, electricians, builders etc. working in Cyprus who don't want to know if it involves issuing an invoice.

In Cyprus it is also the local doctors and lawyers that are not keen on issuing invoices.

Foreign import, get used to the fact that nothing will change till Cyprus is no longer held hostage by so-called Turkish-"Cypriots" who destroy freedom, equality, democracy and perpetuate racist apartheid!

They are the poison in the wound. Illegal occupation of Cyprus must end!
