There are many issues on which I do not share exclusively your views Robin. You very eloquently post your views and further more unlike my self you refrain from using " colourful" language, however in a democracy all are entitled to hold and express freely views on a variety
of subjects. I'm pro west and support the west's culture but I refuse to be supportive of actions that I consider illogical and without substance such as the west's position in regards to Syria.
Blind adherence to actions by whoever has never been my practice. With age one becomes immune to propaganda and forms personal opinions.
This individual with whom you exchanged a huge number of views particularly on Syria must be from now ignored and have his ....humble pies duly returned
I'll go along with all of that Milti. I am pro those that are IMO doing the right thing by others, what flag they fly or anthem they sing is irrelevant to me. I feel there is a lot of injustice in this world and our generation is to blame, I feel very sorry for those that will inherit the world we will soon leave behind. I am not at all religious but believe in an after life.
We all have different views and the purpose of a forum is to EXPLAIN why you have certain views. Someone who disagrees presents their view to counter the argument put forward by another by applying facts and common sense and their counter argument ..... not insults and ridicule. Unfortunately there are those that regard anyone with a contrary view as an idiot ........... in this instance without the accuser ever actually presenting an argument to support the accusation. I only comment when I am comfortable that I have sufficient knowledge to comment. If I express what is simply my opinion, I say so.
I know what I know, and with banking I have found out by talking to bankers and those in the financial world that I in fact most often know more than they do. I have spent over a decade with a deep interest in how this system works and how it effects us and found out many, many aspects of money creation and banking that defy belief.
Is it because I am smarter than them that I know all this? Of course not ...... I have just taken the trouble to seek out as much information as I can and then work it out for myself. We have seen recently on this forum, someone associated with the banking system that was going to
'destroy my stupid ideas' .... this is, according to Paphitis' opinion. It all fizzled out and died a natural death because quite often those that are associated with the system don't actually know the basics until it is pointed out to them. It's not because they are stupid, it's because they have never really thought about it. All they know is what they have been taught or thing they have acquired over time.
Syria I am no expert on but if you spread your data acquisition across the spectrum of available information, assess the credibility and use your brain ...... much of what is used as a story by the western media, that most people use as a reference, is distorted, selective and devoid of facts and in many cases no more than some one else's opinion or downright disinformation. The same applies to events in Ukraine ..... those that blame Putin ..... have no idea of what happened in Odessa a few weeks later. It got barely a mention in the MSM and yet over 40 people(
many women among them) were murdered in one incident by Ukraine Nazi sympathisers working under the direction of Kiev ...... and it was all covered on video's!
You are right I tend not to use
'colourful language' as I don't see the need for it if you are reasonably intelligent. I will admit that I am not smart enough to apply sarcasm and that is one thing I cannot cope with.
