An excellent idea Paphitis, although the term 'Ensign' is usually associated with a 'Ship' or a 'Military Rank' and therefore quite inappropriate considering the nature of our 'King'.

A 'Flag' though, YES, and may I be the first to propose a standard sized ''Green' background (representative of 'Grass') and emblazoned with the 'Winged foot of Mercury' (representative of 'Speed') and a 'Rat' hiding behind a rock in the bottom left hand corner, just a thought, needs working on but the theme seems near enough under the circumstances surrounding the knowledge we have of our newly crowned 'King' .

What d'ya reckon Cobber.

Agree.

An Ensign might be inappropriate considering the nature of His Majesty so a flag will have to do. Being in a flag detail a number of times and responsible for the raising of The Royal Ensign at dawn, is a naval tradition His majesty will no doubt be unfamiliar with, so we should say that an Ensign is inappropriate under the circumstances in his case.

I like your proposal.

That shall be entry number 1 and clear favourite. 8)

I think we should submit our proposal to his 'Majesty' and seek his consent before we venture further, I am sure we would not wish to insult him. 8)

OTOH Paphitis just yesterday threatened he would go crying to the admin if anyone would dare trigger another personal attack on him by including his name in a new personal poll…

What the hell the topic is other than another personal attack orchestrated by the Schnauzer -Paphitis duo?

Oh it's a friendly banter LOL :o

'Royalty' does not warrant the same degree of protection from personal attacks as do 'Commoners', a cursory glance through the pages of recent history regarding the behaviour of the 'British Royals' is testament to that fact, it is part of the 'Cross ' they are obliged to bear in order that they may maintain their privileged lifestyles.

This thread is (or should be seen as) a 'Retaliatory Action' against the impertinence of he who now wears the very 'Crown' which he sought to impose upon others

Long may he reign, who knows ?, as 'King' he might even learn to converse in 'The King's English' (or something approaching it). 8)

You may continue this never ending cycle of personal attacks Vs Milti for eternity if you like, since both you and Milti seem to agree that neither of you would ever go crying to the admin complaining about it . However Paphitis clearly stated that he would, while at the same time he did not even spare a second before joining the orchestra of this new personal attack.

Whatever your view, I think personal attacks are one thing, (Let he who is without sin ......... :( ) but to target an individual member in a poll seems to me to be a whole different ballgame. I would certainly not participate in such a poll.

I was absent from the forum during the period when this 'Poll' (I refer to the original) was raised (and the result known), such 'Polls' are frequently raised by the same chap and invariably are introduced with a bias laid upon them before any votes are cast.

THIS one is quite different in that only a complete fool would venture to offer such insult and actually place his own name among the candidates !.

Hence the 'Retaliatory Thread'. .

The way I see it is that milti bought this upon himself and got bit on the bum.

He starts these friggin polls every second week about various members, so one about his Royal Highness wouldn't go astray to teach the bugger a lesson.

He put himself in this position.

Absolutely. We should put it to him and seek consent to see what he has to say for himself as we wouldn't want to cause any undue offence to His Royal Highness.
