An excellent idea Paphitis, although the term 'Ensign' is usually associated with a 'Ship' or a 'Military Rank' and therefore quite inappropriate considering the nature of our 'King'.

A 'Flag' though, YES, and may I be the first to propose a standard sized ''Green' background (representative of 'Grass') and emblazoned with the 'Winged foot of Mercury' (representative of 'Speed') and a 'Rat' hiding behind a rock in the bottom left hand corner, just a thought, needs working on but the theme seems near enough under the circumstances surrounding the knowledge we have of our newly crowned 'King' .

What d'ya reckon Cobber.

Agree.

An Ensign might be inappropriate considering the nature of His Majesty so a flag will have to do. Being in a flag detail a number of times and responsible for the raising of The Royal Ensign at dawn, is a naval tradition His majesty will no doubt be unfamiliar with, so we should say that an Ensign is inappropriate under the circumstances in his case.

I like your proposal.

That shall be entry number 1 and clear favourite. 8)

I think we should submit our proposal to his 'Majesty' and seek his consent before we venture further, I am sure we would not wish to insult him. 8)

Absolutely. We should put it to him and seek consent to see what he has to say for himself as we wouldn't want to cause any undue offence to His Royal Highness.

At almost 71 years old don't you think Im a little immune to silly buggers statements!!
I love polls, gives us a rest from political crap that Paphitis posts
How is YOUR coalition doing in ...Aleppo mate

Coalition is doing a lot better than your guys let me give you the tip. They are also far more successful in achieving objections without deliberately committing war crimes. And the results are already there for people to see, but at the 5 year and 10 year mark you will see the legacy of our actions vs Pootins. Pootin who is a leader of a country which doesn't even allow peaceful political demonstrations on the streets of Moscow.

So Your majesty, we have your Royal Endorsement to conduct a referendum for your Flag? Is that right?

well then, maybe you should do the honours. No one has had more practice than yourself and then on top of that start calling other people immature.

if you were mature, then you would stick to the material and the subject instead of having a hissy fit every time and open polls to tarnish other members and discredit their POV with innuendos and nonsense. You say you are 71 years old, but yet behave with as much maturity as a little kid.

I think I have tolerated your polls long enough. how many have you done targeting me? About 10 or 12?

I don't. I just won't stand for your personal attacks anymore. Sorry, but that should have stopped a long time ago.

I have been very tolerant of all the abuse I have received over an extended period of time. Not many people here would have been as tolerant as me.

Yes, I agree to that. I still remember the times this forum was heavily moderated, and trust me it wasn't fun at all.
So if you are going to push for another such moderated session then you should know that the rules are very clear:You cannot respond to or start another session of a personal attack in retaliation! All you can do is just stop there and report it. In other words you cannot one day break the rules, and the other day ask for their enforcement(*).

You may wonder why these forums stopped been moderated. Simply because that's (*) exactly what everybody was doing

'His Majesty' was sitting on his throne this morning reading the daily news (as is his custom before he washes and puts in his false teeth), he came across an article which displeased him and he immediately began frothing at the mouth.

In a rage, he stood up, ripped the newspaper and wiped his arse on the article which he did not agree with before spitting the froth down the pan and pulling the chain.

I think he had a restless night on account of the fact that his 'Crown' was left next to his bed last evening 8)

No I am not pushing for heavy moderation at all. I am happy in the current environment.

I have never retaliated, but if personal attacks continue with nothing being done about it, then that leaves no other option but retaliation.
