I hope you notice that the historians do not say there was no genocide - they just say these historical issues has no place in the legal system.

In short, there should be no laws saying that there WAS, or there WAS NOT a genocide. Naturally, those laws should go in bot France and Turkey so that the hsitorians are allowed an open discussion.

The Cyprus Problem is that Turkey is violating international law and the human and legal rights of Cypriots (both TCs and GCs) are violated.

Shouldn't the solution be the one that solves the problem?

The solution: End of occupation (solves the international law violation problem), and the respect of the human, legal and democratic rights of all Cypriots in a country with a constitution similar to the ones of all other EU countries. how did the tcs feel about the british rule before the eoka period. conquerors ? protectors?

Occupiers, however, they did a much better job keeping peace then EOKA Terrorists did thats for sure.

Freedom? jeeez, I really dont think the Akritos plan, Enosis, and attitudes such as, Cyprus is Greek we must wipe off every Turk, lets tie Cyprus to Greece says alot for freedom, its more greed than anything, why should we accept being part of Greece since when in history was Cyprus governed by Greeks etc etc etc

Go to International Law, check under Treaty IV Legal Guaranteur rights and you will discover Turkiye had a legal guaranteur rights as protector of Turkish people of the Island (the Brittish also did by the way), I mean if 15 years of suffering EOKA Terrorism and Enosis wasnt bad enough there were then Coups Of course it was a respose and a Legal response, this is the EOKA Greek Junta's fault, if they never started this problem TMT would not have to enter to protect its people.

if eoka didnt happen how did the tc view the future of cyprus at the time?

I believe it would have been a much smoother journey, comprimises would have been made on both side but Cyprus would be one country today with Greek and Turk side by side, this has all been ruined now and can never happen.

Not only have we suffered physically we have also suffered mentally, no-one in the world for years would comment about the attrocities carried out against us, this angered us more than anything, the feeling that our blood is so cheap and that were treated no better then dogs, I mean if we were dogs Human Rights would be protesting till this day demanding apologees, condemnation and compensation.

We are a forgiving people, maybe in time we will forgive but as I said what is most sickening is lack of regard for human life and double standards towards Turks. This is a main source of anger for us believe me.
