Prices in Cyprus..

Postby ivone » Sun Mar 18, 2007 11:55 pm

Hello, I would like to get some information about prices in general in Cyprus. Of course, as a renown touristic destination I don't expect to be cheap, but some people confused me with controversial sayings..
How much is the approximate cost of a whisky, gin, beer or a tea? Is it OK if the tip is at about 10% from the bill?
I will appreciate any advices, information and suggestions. Thank you in advance.

Which part of Cyprus . Its depends the area . Like Limassol is more expensive then Larnaca and Kyrenia and Paphos. Dinner can cost about £7 per person , whisky is smilar to uk prices but if you buy cyprus brandy is cheaper like £6 a bottle .If you coming holiday you will definetly need £50 per person a day spending in south and north

Prices are roughly the same. Alcohol is cheaper though. 10% tips are more than adequate although some restaurants include a service charge so check before. As for beer, stick with the Cypriot stuff. Keo and Carlsberg brewed in Cyprus is available everywhere and usually the favourite choice. Have a good, liquid holiday ;)
