Thanks Lena mou, well I thought seen as though no one else was willing to save the poor guy from a heart attack, I thought I better..I was actually quite worried about him...

(Plus I don't really mind being thought of as a 'bald fat bloke'...Don't see what all the fuss is about really... )

Oh Thanks, actually my yiayia should be the one credited for it...she said it to me the other day, and I just had to use it on this forum...so appropriate....She is quite a witty lady, is my yiayia Anastasia...

As for your grandmother...I am glad that she has such a good humor!!!
And you are lucky that you have her close to you!! I never met my fathers mother and my other grandmother passed away 3 years ago

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of both your grandmothers Lena mou...
I'm so lucky to still have both of mine alive and well (Xtipa ksilo..). I treasure every moment I have with them..and I have learnt so much from them..it's great listening to old stories from the village whilst being taught how to make delicious Cypriot food! Great memories...

Both my Grandmothers have a fanatastic sense of humour, something I didn't realise until I was old enough to really appreciate it and them...My Maternal Grandmother (The yiayia who asked about the coffees) is very quick and witty, and she just comes out with these fantastic one liners sometimes!! And my Paternal Grandmother is someone that you can just sit down and have a good laugh with! Both my Grandmothers are like that in fact!

It's that great Cypriot sense of humour at work!
