Does somebody know whether it is worse to hire a bicycle in Girne? Is the sorrounding good for cycling or is it absolutely not recommended? Also the question if bikes are available for rent in Girne. If someone has special recommendations on places in North Cyprus where to bike, will be appreciated. We're just unprofessional "normal" cyclists

booky, new to this forum and have just seen your message. I wouldn't recommend cycling in Girne or anywhere around, unless of course you go to the Karpas where there isn't any traffic. The locals drivers are dreadful, they will cut you up, overtake anywhere they please including hills and bends, pull out in front without warning and if they don't get you then the potholes in the road will !!!!
