On another note, do you actually remember the last time Turkey has lost any soil?
I think you guys are confusing yourselves with Spartans

shahmaran wrote:There you go with your IFS and BUTS, i think if you want to get technical about it, you should also look into how that army was put together, and then maybe you can understand that yet again you were defeated by an army that was quickly mustered together against all odds, so i guess you should enjoy your "almost didn't loose" attitude while you can, because thats the best you will ever do and you do actually need it, after all, when was the last time you won any war? (massacring defenseless villages doesnt count as war btw)
SO let me refresh YOUR memory my friend,
Spartans love WAR!
Greeks love young boys!
Stick to what you are good at and dont get them mixed up, ok sunshine?![]()

Why don't you arranmge a fight between yourselfs so that we can all get rid of you warlovers once and for all? Cyprus has had its fair share of war and kllings so lets try to heal those wounds before even considering to open more with yet another war.

Yep - 2,500 - 3,000 odd years ago. Just shows how much the Greeks had civilised themselves as opposed to the Turks who still love war and have an almost intimate relationship with their military.Spartans love WAR!

I'm just trying to educate the poor guy. I told him early on that we're armed to the teeth and he just got condescending!

I agree with your conclusion and remind that there are different types of war these days... financial, psychological, pressure, etc.

Go do your homework - Athenians 'loved young boys' as an act of endearment before war. This act wasnt embraced by Spartans, Minoans, Macedonians, etc.
Besides, Turks smell bad and have square heads.
