The Republic of Cyprus ended in 1974, when greeks tried to overthrow their own goverment in an attempt at ENOSIS with mainland greece, and at the same time `just for good measure´decided to perform genocide on the Türkish Cypriot minority!!!
Oh, and I must not forget to mention that you (greeks) also murdered your own people that were against unification with mainlang greece!
If you greek cypriots are so in favour of a reunified Cyprus why did you reject the Annan plan, although I sincerely thank all those that voted against it
My advice is get used to TRNC (KKTC) because it is here to stay!

1. The Republic of Cyprus is alive and well. It even joined the EU recently, Turkey is still begging for it.

2. The coup in 1974 was performed by the military junta of Athens, it had nothing to do with the majority of the Cypriot people. In fact several coups happened in Turkey as well, could they have been an excuse for another country to invade Turkey?

3. In 1974 no TC was touched until after the turkish invasion had started. After the invasion a few 100s of TCs were killed after the Turks started to kill thousands of GCs. If you call the 100s of TCs that got killed as genocide, then what do you call the 1000s of GCs that got killed and the 200.000 that had been ethnically cleansed?

Because the Annan plan was a partition plan, and not a unification plan.

My advice is get used to TRNC (KKTC) because it is here to stay!

It will stay as an illegal under developed puppet state until the day of liberation, that will come sooner or later. Meanwhile we will continue to progress, unlike those that have never learned to create anything and only know how to steal the property of others.
