So i would be alright, but what are the rules on staying in turkey for brits. as that is the catagory i would come under.

If you don't have TRNC citizenship the relevant laws of Turkey consider you as a foreigner. In this case you should obtain a residence permit from relevant government offices. You can get either a temporary or a permenent residence permit. In case you have a TRNC citizenship, you can easily get the Turkish Citizenship, unconditionally; as your second(or third) citizenship.
