Hi, arrived in Nicosia less than a week ago - got transfered from our office in Kuala Lumpur. New colleagues very nice bunch of people, but quite settled and not really up to stuff outside of work - figure discovering Cyprus alone is not much fun I guess so look for people to go out for drinks, dancing maybe, cinema, day trips at the weekends etc. Ideally from Nicosia as don't have a car, I am one of the brave ones who dare to cycle to work

BTW, I am German, female, 33.

Have no plans for this Sunday, any suggestions more than welcome.

For better or worse, Cyprus is one of those rare places where you really can look at some Work-Life balance... There's enough and more in this beautiful island for all to explore, savoure and relish... Limassol is considered to be the happening place of Cyprus...

Agia Napa, is the LasVegas of Cyprus... North Cyprus is an option... Otherwise, take a drive to Paphos and relax at the Coral Bay...

In case you wish to spend some time in Limassol, be my guest... as long as you dont mind eating what I cook (Mind you! that needs courage )

amazed, you'd need buckets of ice cold water (or German beer or whatever Antje's preferance is!) rather than prepare a meal, since she only cycles and it's pretty far from Nicosia!!
