We have had our moments of bitter conflict on other forums but it does not mean we have to hate each other. We had a lot in common. We are both Cypriots first and love Cyprus dearly to start with. So there you go.

Where did you get that idea??????I was just shocked to see that GR had Turkish friends since his theory of evolution put us a few pegs lower down on the food chain. He does seem to have abandoned that line though.

As for having GC friends....I have a very firm date with a very good GC friend of mine to go on a barbecue day with our families. I don't want to make it sound as if it was a regular occurrence but we have fought side by side a couple of times when we were picked on by some thugs. I would trust him to watch my back any day of the week. We have not seen each other on a regular basis for a long while although we live only a couple of miles apart but that was due to family life and work and me not being a drinker so going out was getting pretty pointless. I am glad to say that he is now popping in more and more when he sees my van parked in the drive and his shift work allows. It is a shame that our Armenian friend is a bloody snob and since he has made his fortune does not come round any more because that would bring three life long friends together. It is a shame you know that class and money make things harder for friends to stick together. On paper the three of us seem to span the three main classes in the UK.

What you do not like is that contrary to your brainwashed background there are civilised peole North of the Island who would love to live in peace and harmony. That is what you cannot tolerate. You said NO to the Annan plan, so you have deprived yourself of your "own land" so to speak. Get it through your head it is not your land. It belongs to all Cypriots. Or as you reckon we look to the south and see you occupying "OUR" land , which is the case.

You are correct that the land of Cyprus North , South East and West belongs to us all , lets preserve it for the future generations of Cypriots , let us not have our lands , yours and mine , sold off to foreign investors without the permission of the legal owners , the deed holders. Let us not allow a part of our Cyprus be annexed to a foreign nation. All of Cyprus is yours and also mine. You have the same rights in your country of birth as I and every one else has , regardless of majorities and minorities , all Cypriots are equal under the Cypriot ligislature and European directives.
Events have moved on since the 60s and the 70s , let us embrace our nation as CYPRIOTS , just as Kikapu , Bir , Humanist , and many many more , be one of us and claim all of Cyprus as your nation.

This is for Piratis and Sotos. The history of Cyprus starts at about 9 000 BC. In 1 400 BC the first Greeks settle in Cyprus (Mycenaenians) and of course the local bananiots accepted them with open arms because they were the bearers of a higher civilisation. These apologists were the contemporary Annan Plan supporters who are after desquised partition.

The Piratis's at the time engaged in a bloody war (no UN or EU at the time to struggle from your armchair) to aoust the Greek settlers but to no avail. Eventually the Greek settlers not only reigned supreme but imposed their language and culture to the Eteocypriots.

I put it to you that all self respecting Cypriots should have an axe to grind with the Greeks (Mycenaenians, Achaeans etc) . They were the first settlers. The Turkish settlers of late have just followed their example.

Bananiot, the parallel you give is totally wrong.

Turkey has invaded us, stole our lands, ethnically cleansed us and they are trying to use their military power to force us to capitulate and accept their unfair to us demands.

I hope you understand the difference of the above, with adopting and integrating to your own, a higher civilization at your own free will.

For example here we talk in English and using computers. Many parts of our (and most of the worlds) lives are Americanized. Nobody forced us to learn English or start using computers, we adopted these ourselves because we realized that it will help us with our lives (in the same way that Cypriots had then adopted the higher Greek civilization).

So you are wrong, I wouldn't fight against Cypriots adopting elements of a more developed civilization. My problem is with using brute force against us, human rights violations and the stealing of our lands.

My natural selection theory is in fact correct but the problem is that some TC’s are thin-skinned and take everything personal. Here’s that thread again…

http://www.cyprus-forum.com/viewtopic.p ... +selection

Tell me which part of that little article in INCORRECT.

The problem is that when I elevate the GC’s some of you automatically assume that I’m also pushing the TC’s down which is totally untrue.

There must be a joke somewhere there, but obviously I am not a good joker

Americans are your best friends. The ones that are helping Turkey in every way and trying to help Turkey join the EU, remember? However there are some things that not even your best friends could deny. What exactly did you want them to write? That Turks expanded against Cyprus because of "Cypriot pirates"?

There are some historical facts that no amount of lies from you can change them. Sorry.

Oh, Please dont apologise. Just stew in your own misery. I can not imagine why some of us want to live with people of your sort. Anlamayana davul zurna az, anlayana sivrisinek saz. I tried to explain to you one of the factors surrounding the 1571 invasion of Cyprus. The Roman Pope was subsidising the Pirates and corsairs of Malta and Cyprus to harass the muslim merchant ships and the pilgrimage routes under the protection of the Knights of Malta. You are so ....you cannot understand that. You keep on playing your own trumpet. I am sure that will keep you happy.
In addition if you had accepted the Annan Plan all property owners would have been compensated one way or another. By the way, are the families currently living on my property in the south, thieves. I think not. You seem to forget that the action of the Junta and eoka B has caused suffering to both sides. I understand, that but we can not seem to get it through your skin. That is your problem.

America may be a great friend of Turkey but we are not doing so badly ourselves. We allowed the imperialist aircraft total control over the Cyprus airspace when Turkey said "no pasaran" to America. And, guess who gave the go ahead to the Americans to attack Iraq using the Cyp airspace. Christofias himself, who was the acting President at the time as Papadopoulos was spending time abroad. The next day, Christofias ordered the lambs to demonstrate outside the American embassy! Murderers of people, Americans! Chanted the lambs!
