In the spirit of experiments, I posted this to see how many GCs actually got past the first 3 seconds before turning it off. Be honest now because I would really like you to listen all the way through. If you have never heard this before there is a surprise near the end of this DUET!.

Here are the Lyrics...enjoy!!!

rüzgar

Penceremin perdesini
Havalandıran rüzgar
Denizleri köpük köpük
Dalgalandıran rüzgar
Gir içeri usul usul
Beni bu dertten kurtar
Yabancısın buralara
Nerelerden geliyorsun
Otur dinlen başucuma
Belli ki çok yorulmuşsun
Bana esmeyi anlat
Bana sevmeyi anlat
Bana esmeyi anlat
Esip geçmeyi anlat
Anlat ki çözülsün dilim
Ben rüzgarım demeliyim
Rüzgarlığı anlat bana
Senin gibi esmeliyim

Ah ayera pu anemizis
Tu pelagu ton afro
Ah ayera pu froizis
Me tu lihnu mu to fos
Fisa mesa stin kardia mu
Skorpise mu ton kaymo
Fisa mesa stin kardia mu
Skorpise mu ton kaymo

Mathemu to fisigma su
Pareme sto petagma su
To ksimeroma na me vri
Stin entheria angalia su

By the way the Greek part is a bit mess but I am sure Greek people will be ok

Lena, could you please try to translate the Greek lyrics of this lovely song. Or are the words a translation of the Turkish lyrics?
Maybe Karma could do the same to see how your translations compare.

Sure it is indeed a lovely song...so here is your request!! Would you do now the translation for the Turkish lyrics for us...my Turkish are not so good!!!

Ah ayera pu anemizis=Αχ αέρα που ανεμίζεις= Ah, wind that you ventilate
Tu pelagu ton afro =Του πελάγου τον αφρό= the foam of the open sea
Ah ayera pu froizis = Αχ αέρα που θροίζεις = Ah, wind that you continuously make noise
Me tu lihnu mu to fos = Με του λύχνου μου το φως= With your oil-lamp’s the light
Fisa mesa stin kardia mu = Φύσα μέσα στην καρδία μου= Blow into my heart
Skorpise mu ton kaymo = Σκόρπισε μου τον καημό = Scatter to me the sorrow/grief
Fisa mesa stin kardia mu = Φύσα μέσα στην καρδία μου = Blow into my heart
Skorpise mu ton kaymo = Σκόρπισε μου τον καημό = Scatter to me the sorrow/grief

Mathemu to fisigma su = Μάθε μου το φύσημα σου = Teach me your blowing
Pareme sto petagma su = Πάρε με στο πέταγμα σου = Take me to your flight
To ksimeroma na me vri = Το ξημέρωμα να με ‘βρει = The dawn to find me
Stin entheria angalia su = Στην αιθέρια αγκαλιά σου = To your embrace/bosom

It is a lovely song!! I wish I had my wind here!!
