Both sides must do this...because pain and suffering cannot be calculated in numbers or who has suffered longest....All those who have suffered human rights violations has the right to expect an appology...to have their pain acknowledged....It is the only way forward...if forward is where we want to go...

Well I found this link to a turkish newspaper that our Tim provided sometime ago. the Tcs can read it, and Tim kindly did the translation, here

You know what, I will say it, Talat should say sorry for any innocent (non combatant- or combatants that surrendered) civilians slain in the 1974 conflict. It is wrong to kill innocent people of any race.

So I know I am not Talat but I will say sorry... I know it is not much, but it is a truthful sorry as there is no way innocent non combatants should have been killed.
