Postby halil » Mon Jun 18, 2007 4:09 pm

A TRNC Parliamentary delegation, headed by the Speaker Fatma Ekenoglu, flies to Britain today for contacts at the British Parliament.
The delegation will have contacts at the House of Lords and the House of Commons during its week-long visit to the country.

Members of the delegation will also meet representatives of local officials and Turkish Cypriot NGOs based in London.

The delegation will return to the Republic on Sunday at the end of its contacts in Britain

No doubt the delegation will press the UK Government for concessions , direct trade , flights , recognition etc etc. What an utter waste of time and money , Britain for all its faults and blunders when it comes to bloody foreigners taking the piss , is still a nation that abides by international protocols and legislature and will never endorse the pseudo state . The efforts are indeed a new campaign by Turkey to legalise her illegal occupation of a part of Cyprus.

No, the Turkish delegation will visit Palmers Green, Enfield, Turnpike Lane, etc. in north London and see that the Greek and Turkish communities get on very well with each other. So, being intelligent men, and know a good deal when they see one they will immediately, on their return get on to Pap Doc and say:

"The situation on the island of Cyprus is stupid. Why don't we jointly apply to the British Government to repatriate all of us from Cyprus to north London, both our natural homelands now. After all their are more Cypriots of both flavours in the UK than their are in Cyprus.

We turn the island into an EU province and recruit the necessary people, from the EU with the customer skills and professional occupations to run the necessities and then offer the island as a purely holiday and retirement location."

And then you woke up, obviously with a hangover from the previous night’s booze, and realized that you were just being dreaming!

You acquired sweet fa mate because the International community classifies that 37% as a part of Cyprus under Turkish occupation. Not T/C note but Turkish occupation , an army of invaders who are slowly and surely turning this part of Cyprus into a Turkish province , AND IN THE PROCESS MAKING SURE THE T/CS BECOME EXTINCT.
