Ok, so if its alright to beat them up - or get them to attack each other, what then if they are the WRONG Guys???? Punishment should be AFTER a fair trial and if guilty they should lose their freedom and work hard to repay what they have done. This is the 21st century. NOT the 12th.

i do agree with you generally tess, but when it comes to teenage yobs who terrorise the public, perhaps this type of justice carries more weight, rather than community service, which in the uk is just a feather in their caps. I do, however, understand, where do you draw the line.

Oh, was the "bleeding heart" bit aimed at me?? Ok, I did sound a bit like that - but you cant have police beating people up when they are there to uphold the law. Tess

I doubt very much that the police would administer such punishment without absolute knowledge of the crime, as far as incarceration is concerned, why should the taxpayer have to finance such comforts as demanded by the wrongdoers?, a bloody good hiding, send 'em home with a sore arse, and see if they fancy coming back for more.

In the event of their being a small measure of mistaken identity (vaguely possible), the innocent victim of such justice will know what to expect if he does break the law.

Too much sympathy with the scum who have ruined our country, MY HUMBLE OPINION. Ha Ha.......

I was very upset when I first watched that video, police brutality is a fact in Greece and, what's worse, many people here tend to condone such phenomena... One very strong argument of them is that these policemen have to put up with so many scum that, eventually, they snap. Some also say that, a policeman that can keep his cool and not overreact when dealing with such lowlives is not suitable for the job. For me, those are poor excuses. The authority given to policemen over the lives of citizens is too big to be given without a prior careful evaluation of the person's psyche and education, which is exactly the case here in Greece unfortunately
