Annan Plan=Dead & Buried and the Kolifa were refreshing.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Who here seriously thinks that the Annan Plan and these Swiss Cheese and belgian chocolate federation models stand a fraction of a chance at a referendum?

A Federal constituiton has no chance in Cyprus, especially where citizens rights are limited along ethnic lines.

Any GC fudge packer who thinks that the people may eventually accept a federal ethnically cleansed constitution has wasted a lot of daddy's money on education. Daddy did not get any value.

You can dress a model anyway you like but at the end of the day

In Australia only 7 referendums in about 60 have been successful and these were for issues which had no real effect on citizens everyday life.- as if people will vote for the huge changes the various Annan plans are going on about and vote away their rights to sue in the ECHR or their legal rights.

At the end of the day whats in it for us?

please dont compare Cyprus to Australia.

Cypriots don't bend over to a monarch. they prefer to elect their leaders.

Agios Amvrosios, (too many saints in here)

A strong federation can be part of the solution. We made this compromise long time ago. However it is very possible to have a federation with minimum violation of human and democratic rights. If the other side makes also the compromises needed in order to achieve this, then a federation is a possible solution. Otherwise I agree with you that any discussions regarding federation are a waste of time and we should simply focus on the return to legality, which would actually benefit both GCs and TCs anyways.

Are you calling you GC elected leader a bald face lier then? I mean I suspect that might be the case but did not really expect to hear it explicitly from a GC 'extremeist' like yourself.

The GC leader is playing the game (very well). I like his style!

If having legal title to lots of property in the occupied area and not letting go constitutes an extremist -THEN- what does insisting on illegally occupying property to which you have no legal title to PURELY becuase you belong to a particular ethnic group amount to? Isn't that significantly more extremist. I'm "X" natinality I can take anything I like and anyone who causes me trouble is an extremist.

Akou! Now we are extremists becuase we insist on not foregoing our legal title.

I vote for the Greens and smoke a pound of butter everyday what is your excuse?
