southener glad to see some people still realise the british millitary put alot towards the economy of cyprus

I was stationed at Episkopi 1966/7, we lived in Limassol as did most of the married personel from Episkopi and Akrotiri renting private houses from the local people. We still visit with the daughter of our late landlord, as I said earlier much of the local economy was based on HM Forces including a considerable amount of civilian employment on the Sovereign Bases

suicidal??? are you kidding ? the turks could kill us all in a day no problem... their istanbul has a population bigger then greece.. the north cyprus has a army a lot bigger then cyprus so.... i dont think the word is suicidal... more an easy win without lifting a finger :/ as much as i hate to say it its the truth
