More refugees will return if ...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Forget the past for the present and future this would be the right thing to do and have it in all three languages.

Hey there,

I agree with a previous statement that Cyprus is very different to Greece. Obviously there are 'Cyprus' flags running along side Greek flags most of the time. I have not seen that many single Greek flags, however i think it's slowly changing as it's usually now the Cyprus flag running along the EU flag.

Regardless, i'd just like to ask a few generic questions under any settlement plan.

If most of the GC's refugees were aloud to return give or take a few thousand where it will not be possible. Would this not turn the TC population up side down as were the GC's in the invasion?

I mean all that commercial property along the Kyrenia harbour? I mean i'm sure that most of the owners were GC's. And i can imagine they would really want to go back for sentimental and commercial reasons. And even though they have this right, i can't see it happening.

Also, what would happen to the Turkish flags engraved on the kyrenia mountain range in any given solution? Would they still remain?

The flag engraved on the mountain should be replaced if settlment is achieved but as for the kyrenia range well, unfortunately like you nick i do not see it happening.

by the flag you mean the one engraved with pebbles in Lefkos(i)a?

is this flag viewable from the GC side of the capital? I have only been on the nothern part of the city and saw it there. Quite disturbing. That is something that is seen as a sign for not wanting to achieve a solution. Not t-pap.
