firstly turkey did not own cyprus turkey invaded and took cyprus just like all the other empires did in history................ instead of giving cypriots their independence they gave cyprus to the british in order to save their own asses from a possible invasion from russia, further more britain in return offered cyprus to greece in the first world war as a reward if they join in the war on thebritish side, greece turned down the offer sayign it is to much of ahigh price to pay in terms of how many men they would loose

turks and greeks from cyprus are not the same thing they are cypriots who speak turkish and greek they have nothign to do with those two countries ................but unfortunatly since we do not have identity everyone wants to be greek and turkish, its called lack of education its called going with the flow its called it must be true becouse everyone thinks its true. this could not be further from the truth. we are an island of mummies baby daddys maybe. or to put it another way we have mother lands but we do not know who our mother is
