Some people just don't have a sense of humor or understand anything about advertising.
The advert makes sure people not only remember the advert itself but even remember what is being advertised. Not everything hi-tech and expensive makes as much an impact as this type of advertising.
I do have a sense of humour and I do understand advertising.
But that advert is just RUBBISH! It's totally irrelevant to the product, it's just an ugly gorrila, playing drums, while a crap old song plays in the backround, and it's been repeated to death. I can see what they tried to do by making it "arty".....but they failed IMHO!
Everyones talking about the advert but I doubt that it's making anyone want to buy chocholate.
I work in an office with a lot of young designers and they love this advert.
They even have gone to You tube to see and hear more.
It works! Bet cadburys sales have increased.
Any publicity is good publicity and this advert has certainly had some.
You are half right,TC.We were talking about the advert the other day but I couldn't remember what it was advertising,so that was wasted on me.
BUT, just because you don't like gorillas, drums and Phil Collins songs does not make it rubbish. You do like chocolate don't you ?
