Car hire in Paphos (Easycar/Linos Car Rental)

Postby DoubleVodka » Tue Mar 08, 2005 2:21 pm

I would like to rent a car in Paphos and have come across a very good deal with Easycar (lots of regulations) who use Linos Car Rental in Paphos - has anyone any experience of Linos Car Rental? (or Easycar in Cyprus)

Thanks - great site for car hire. Linos's address is 54 Tombs of the Kings - just a bit dubious as can't find any info on them at all!

I'm also interested in car hire in Paphos in July. I have just returned from Paphos and I pre-arranged car hire via the internet through Holiday Autos at a reasonable cost of 60 GBPounds for 7 days. I'd booked the cheapest class of car and got a 'free' upgrade to a Group D car.
However, I'm struggling to find a good price for July when the more expensive summer rates apply. Typically, online booking agents are asking £120 GBPounds per week for group A and a whopping £250 GB P/W for a small 4X4 like a Suzuki Samurai!
I'm a new visitor to Cyprus so I haven't yet found the best places to get a bargain. I had this problem when I first started visiting the Canary Isles but with the help of forums like this I eventually found some fantastic online car hire bargains.

TIA

Check out the website advised above - it lists all car rental companies for Cyprus. The cheapest I've found is Easycar, but there are lots of regulations, but so long as you can fit in with these, then there's no problem - you will need to add on the cost of CDW to the hire, but that's the only extra (think it's about £4 per day).

Thanks for that. Easycar.com prices seem quite good, although the 'hidden' extras might bump up the price a bit. Shame they don't do pick up & drop off at the airport - that would save a 2 way taxi fare...
Anyway, about £300 for a compact 4X4 for 14 days is a good price - I might have to give 'em a try!

Cheers

Try Pluton Travel there service is excellent. We got an excellent quote with them NO EXCESS and NO HIDDEN EXTRAS. The car was new we had a little accident with the car and they didnt charge us. We will be using them for our car rentals from now.

Little accident? :(

What kind of accident - one involving another vehicle or did somebody drop a turd on the back seat?

You have to ask the question
