My son loves rugby and I told him to forget it when we are in Cyprus . . . so this is great to find out they not only play but they compete.

Does anyone know if there is a training ground for juniors in / near Paphos ?

Thanks. :D

Paphos Tigers run a junior side. If you make the game on Saturday I'm sure plenty people will be available to give info. We also have a youth development in Limassol but appreciate it is too far to travel. Anyone else out there intrested at junior or senior level drop me a line. The game is developing quickly now but more players, supporters or anyone who would like to assist promoting the game on island is more than welcome.

If you take a look at the list below you will see we have a large number of Cypriot heritage and a few others making up the Cyprus side. Interest grows every day from Cypriots abroad many of whom are willing to pay their own way to play for their country.

I played last night in the Monaco game but have not been able to attend the whole tournament due to work commitments. I am English but have been hugely proud to play for my adopted country.

Cyprus completed their international week with a third victory against Slovakia. Final score 38-8. A very hard game despite the score.

Cyprus rugby has taken massive steps forward with the successful hosting of this competition.

Well done to all the players
