Is a cucumber salatalik or aggouri?

I agree about the generalisations, because even in Turkey there are lots of different accents and different ways of life. Besides, hiyar now has the meaning of "jerk", so it is a swear word which is more used in Turkey. That's why they prefer using "salatalik" for the cucumber.
