It's not just about wrong doings or even the past...it's about you jumping at every given chance to defend the GCs no matter what it's about and NEVER doing ANYTHING to stick up for TCs! Kikapu is the one person in here who has had experience of GC led attack on his family in Kaimakli and of a subsequent arrest at an age when he could understand what was going on. Others had similar experiences but Kikapu did so in his early teens if I recall correctly. So he does not need any reminding of what bigorty and fanaticism can do.

To the TCs he may sound as if he is taking the GC side. To me he sounds like someone who has lived in several countries which underwent far worse civil conflicts than ours and has realised a few things about Cyprus.

At times it sounds and feels like both sides want to cling on to the conflict for dear life. As if the world would disappear if we let it go. Kikapu too has expressed this view in other ways in his posts. Some of us want to move on from this "you started first you killed more people" tit for tat game.

And some of us here do not feel at all happy at the prospect of a part or the whole of Cyprus becoming a district of either Turkey or Greece. In short some people in here have broken free of tha narrow nationalist tripe produced by both sides. The inability to see this for what it is and mistaking it for "taking the other side" tells a lot about where we are and how far we have to go.

He is not the only person here that went through that at that sort of age by a long shot. I know for a fact that eric-dayi did and Deniz did. MR-from-NG did as well....I was 3 in 1963. I know of eric-dayis writing up to at least 4 years ago and he has just about had enough that in that whole time he has not gotten through to a single GC and no he has not always been as angry as he sounds now. You guys have succeeded in turning away every TC that has had the decency to try and explain some of the truths that you have not been told. You do not accept what we went through and the what the embargoes did. You do not accept our past and you do not respect our present.....I need to stop now because I am getting very very angry.....

I made a promise for the new year to have very little if any at all to do with the forum but I had to congratulate you for this excellent post.

I personally have given up going in circles with unreasonable, arrogant and ignorant GCs like Piratis, Kikapu, Sotos, kifeas and Phoenix & co. Enough is enough.

As far as I'm concerned there is nothing much left to argue about. The rest of the world has at long last realised that there is more to the Cyprob than what the Greeks have been feeding them all this time. The game is up for the GCs and it is the year of us TCs.

These fools will regret it all but it would have been too late. I always said give them enough rope they'll hang themselves.

T_C is a nice guy and that is one of the reasons that I got so angry earlier...........All these young people that have had enough and thousands more back home that worry about what is going to happen with education and everything......Enough is enough as you said.
