How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

She was saying something along the lines that law is science and she ill practice law and justice in the ECHR in a way totally irrelevant to her nationality.

She was appointed by TURKEY and she was supreme court judge in the occupied before that. Roc objected to the ECHR but the latter rejected RoC's objections.... Tough luck, they will now be paying a judge for nothing.

So in the end she proved exactly the opposite. 6 judges ruled against Turkey and she was the only one in favor.

Only a fool would believe that she will practice law and sience in ECHR.
If you check all the decesions of ECHR against Tr you will find that the only ones who never find Tr quilty are turkish judges.
I wonder what's the purpose of having them there.

@ pantheman

Re panathema se,   it' not a joke man. Turkey APPOINTED 2 JUDGES at the ECHR.One man and one woman. Both of them are TCs (ex-supreme court judges at the occupied). We just heard what the woman did.
The male one was handled to deal some 30+ cases of GCs against Turkey for the property issue.

This is not a joke it's true we've been discusing it some months ago in this very forum. Do some search please.

When they eventually make an unbiased ruling, then we may have an indication that Turkey has evolved ....

...and do you believe that the other judges will follow the decisions of thr Tc judges? When there is a violation there is a violation and noone can change it. Don't forget is the ECHR not a corrupt turkish court.

European court says Turkey violated rights of 18 Greek Cypriots in 1974 war

STRASBOURG, France (AP) - Turkey violated the rights of 18 Greek Cypriot nationals, nine of whom went missing when detained by the Turkish Army during its 1974 invasion of northern Cyprus, Europe's top human rights court ruled Thursday.
The seven-judge panel said the case filed against Turkey by the families of 18 people detained by
Turkish forces was justified, and awarded them ¤4,000 (US$5,872) each in damages.
Nine of the 18 were never released, and the court said it had accepted witness testimony «to seeing eight of the missing men in Turkish prisons in 1974.» The body of the ninth was found in 2007, but the other eight remain missing.
The court found that Turkey violated several key elements of the European Convention on Human Rights, which Ankara is bound to respect as a signatory. Notably it ruled that Turkey failed to conduct «an effective investigation into the whereabouts and fate» of those still detained.
The court also found that the 18 and their families suffered inhuman or degrading treatment, and that they failed to uphold the detainees' right to liberty.
The 18 were captured during military operations in northern Cyprus in July and August 1974.
Turkish authorities have denied the 18 were taken captive, and have considered all alleged missing persons to have been military personnel who died in action.

Cyprus has been divided between a Greek Cypriot south and a Turkish-occupied north since 1974, when Turkey invaded after an abortive Athens-backed coup by supporters of union with Greece.

It's Ok man, I mean even when this matter was brought up everybody thought it was some kind of joke or lie. Even Copperline thought it was a lie at first. Here's the topic

http://www.cyprus-forum.com/cyprus13267.html

Btw sorry I got the names wrong. The female judge is Gonul Eronen not Mrs Erk.

The one who will handle 38 cases ad hoc for the property issue is called Hakki.

This is exactly how TCs feel in Cyprus without the protection of our big brother Turkey. I doubt if we would be around for more than a week or 2.
