Reality check; after all it is 2008?

Ok, let's have a butchers at this "Reality Check in 2008" shall we?

1950's, Greeks and Greek Cypriots, all 99.9% of GCs that is, strongly wanted
ENOSIS and started a genocide war in 1963 to achieve their dream.

1974 GCs and Greeks try yet again to achieve their ENOSIS dream and fail a second time.

In the 2004 Annan plan referendum the GCs with a very high majority vote vote against unification.

2008, the GCs still are against power sharing with us TCs and want to downgrade our constitutional right of 1960 agreement of political equality and turn us into second class minority in our own country.

SO what is the difference between the 1950's, 60's and the 70's ENOSIS dream and todays GC dream of a GC only ruled Cyprus?

Answer: NONE WHATSOEVER. The GC still want Cyprus as a Greek island today as they did back then.

Partition is the only possible solution to make sure we TCs survive in Cyprus, in a Greek controlled Cyprus we will be nothing but Greek Muslim minority (as is the case of Turks in Greece). We will be foreigners in our own country and will not even be classed as "true Cypriots".

Unification with a race who hate my guts just because I am a Turkish Cypriot? Thanks but NO THANKS.

We Turks/TCs are not fighting you Greeks/GCs, we don't want anything from you, it is you GCs who elect and install a murdering EOKA member as your president and then tell us that EOKA does not exist any more.

On top of that a great majority of GCs agree with your so called "President" that we TCs should surrender and give up our rights that were agreed on in 1960. It is the GCs who want to force us into accepting second class minority rights with nothing whatsoever in having a say in what happens in Cyprus. It is you GCs who are today in 2008 still trying to force your will upon us TCs.

It is your (GCs) wish for Greek Cyprus that divided the island and it is your wish for the same that will imminently make the partition legal, or do you think that any new "President" will have different thoughts to that of what TPapadope or the great majority of GCs and Greece want? Just wait till after the election and we will have our answer, won't we?
