Cypriots do own the place, their kids will own the place. Get used to it. It has been the norm for 10,000 years.

How about going back to your own or learning to accept and share what we do have, like good kids?

Too bad your arse makes your decisions for you ....

You can't substantiate your claim by barking up the racism tree . . . . it doesn't make sense.

We are talking historical rights, not genes.

I gotta say I' m with Shahmaran on this (although it is hard to distinguish between a Turkish Cypriot and a Turk due to the settler issues). But I believe that Cyriots of Turkish linguistc background whose anscestry dates back to th Ottoman rule have gained the right of being Cypriots.

Now my dear Shahmaran you need to start behaving like one, :) :):) :) sorry mate couldn't resist that dig, (God I hope you find it funny otherwise I can see world war three approaching).

My view is this most Greek speaking Cypriots want unification as do most Turkish speaking Cypriots. In fact most of them said so openly in the referendum. This is not an opportunity for people to get high and mighty, hold ya horses, but Greek speaking Cypriots said no to the AP not unification. You guys voted yes because it suited your community better, that is all. So can we please start working on a new plan calling it the people's plan????

@Phoenix

No!

You are talking genes ALL the time, Piratis on the other hand is talking historical rights.

I think both of you make as little sense as each other anyways, because neither there is a law suggesting that you being around for a few thousand and us for a few hundred years makes you any more "Cypriot" then we are, nor does your genetic whatever the stupid claim you want to add to it gives you the right to treat us like the second class citizens as you have been doing all along!

Dig away brother, i never really disliked you nor your views.

But i do find your idea of "Cypriotism" a bit too idealistic.

Well, what do we have here?

I initiate a thread, hoping for something resembling intelligence to find its way on the board, only to be confronted with a steaming pile of horse shit for my efforts.

Aren't you people bored of displaying your intransigent idiosyncracies for all and sundry to scoff at? It's embarassing. All it is is self interest, self interest self interest.

People with brains look outside of the box, think independently, don't rely on myths and prejudice to guide them.

Why are you following the path of the ISrael/Palestine conflict, destined for an eternity of war and misery? TCs and GCs are ONE people for fuck sake, they are the same folk. There is no racal purity, we are all FROM somewhere, right? Drop the bollocks and just try and get on.

You are all a shame to yourselves and a shame to future generations. You disgust me, all of you.

And youll keep rejecting them until your get 110% of what you want, whats the use of going down a route which has already been exausted, will you respect our decision to reject a new plan which we feel is unfair even though its not, will it frustrate you or are you prepared to wait another 4 year for any movement or talk of a solution, your elections are the only reason the issue has shown its head again. What will you do if the GCs reject the next plan??? How many more??

Administered by whom? GCs? This is unacceptable and the current situation is much better than being a minority in a GC state run by GCs.

Administered by Cypriots in a democratic way as it happens in all other democratic countries. And we all know that democracy with fair and proportional representation is unacceptable to you. If it wasn't then we wouldn't have a problem today.

Of which 80% happen to be GCs whom we do not have any reason to trust with our future, we have to have the right to say NO.

If it wasn't for your dream of gifting Cyprus to Greece we would not have the Cyprus issue.

Maybe you should start respecting the fact that 82% of Cyprus population are Greek Cypriots instead of acting as if Cyprus still belongs to the Ottoman Empire and you can determine the destiny of our island against the will of Cypriots?

If you do not trust the population of this island you should have thought of it before you came. Not our fault. As I said earlier the Whites of South Africa could also say that they do not trust the Blacks, but this can not be an excuse to violate their human and democratic rights anymore.

I had no say in what my forefathers did over 400 years ago and I to am indigenous to this island, do you know how the blacks of South Africa now treat the whites, could you enlighten us? You have tried to take vengeance for 400 years (1963) can you imagine the vengeance you seek for what happened only 34 years ago? You have venom in your hearts and have given us no reason to trust you, the last time we made that mistake you wanted to give Cyprus to Greece, well no thanks we need guarantees and lots of them to stop deter you from doing anything stupid where you would try to force us to do things against our communities will.

Mate the only one who is seeking vengeance about events of the past is non else that you.
What happened during the inter-communal was equally your fault. So don't pretend to be the Virgin Mary about those events.

We seek no vengeance, just democracy and human rights for all. But obviously instead of that you prefer to use force and illegalities to have gains on our loss.
