While I don't really care for Phoenix because of her 'Kill everything Turkish' mentality, some of the posts on this forum did go a little too far off from the center of the runway. All that the more 'colorful' posts have done is to convince her more that ever that those who are against her views are uncivilized and uncouth. The moral high ground is important and how that high ground is to be attained - and retained - depends a lot upon our behavior.

I think you are giving him/her a little too much credit in thinking that she has any intentions of finding out about TCs or Turks and or any sort of reconciliation Expat....She is just a brainless racist hat is here to disrupt and that is all...She has a job to do and is doing it....Nothing more nothing less....Nothing we could have said would have changed that..You are not dealing with anything tangible here....

How different are you Zan , She couldn't forgive and forget , she wouldn't forge new bridges of trust , she couldn't love her compatriots , similar symptoms would you agree !!

zan, shes here because she sick of not being able to go back to her land, LEGALLY. Don't twist her hatred because of what your trying to hide. THE TRUTH is, is that you have more rights to HER LAND than she does, and you antagonize her with it, so thats a very good reason for her to hate you. I'm torn.

I agree that the incessant insults and racism towards 'Turks' (even taking into account the experiences) was unacceptable but Phoenix had many good points and did have a good sense of humour.

Her departure must have involved more than just Bubbles arguing with her, there is something else there. Maybe because so many members had an issue with her?

She added an interesting twist to the forum and was so incredibly dogmatic it was astounding.

She will be missed. I wish her well and really hope she finds peace in Cyprus with the family she so obviously adores.
