I cant wait for the European Court of Justice to tell south

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Ceyhun86 » Fri Feb 15, 2008 1:19 pm

you put embargoes in every fucking thing that we do.. you have no idea about human rights or humanity.. you think your all innocent.. cyprus would never have been like this if you didnt start killing us in 1963 +

you used to write ' no turks and no dogs ' allowed on the beaches.. WHICH WERE OUR BECHES AS WELL

you seem to forget your past and what you do to us so easily..and blame the minority population so quickly..

I can assure Turk-by-Proxy, it is not for the love of the European people that Turkey wants to join the EU ....

Mammon and Expansionism are their driving forces.

Hence misanthropic is a label that best befits the Turks.

Misanthropy is the state of hating other people (all other people, not people selected by nationality or race) and wanting to be alone.

It doesn't really matter what you believe Turkey's motives to be, the very fact that they wish to join other people means that they can not be misanthropic.

As an aside, were the RoC's motives (or any other country's motives) in wishing to join the EU poverty and minimalism?

Thats exactly the point I was trying to make to Oracle - perhaps she should really read her dictionary before using such "big" words !!!!

They may be big words for you microcephalicturkophile .... but they are just a series of little Greek words for me ...

the only reason cyprus is like this is because you decided to fuck us up in 1963 -1974... you made us live hollocaust and genocide over 15 000 turkish cypriots.. and you guys deny this.
remember grivas ?? eoka b??

how they buried our people alive...beat my uncle to death .... buried his family.. took my father to prison and beat the shit out of him.
and writing 'no turks of dogs allowed' on the beaches which were and is also ours

but i stil dont have any hatred in me. you need to move on from the past

Cool ceyhun, 15000 is stretching it a bit dont you think? Now come back down to earth, and tell us on which beach you saw that sign that said no dogs etc. I lived in Famagusta, the biggest beach on the island and we did not put up such ridiculous signs. You been reading the wrong books again.

I would definately say yes to all the above.

About the 15,000 TC's that were killed in genocide by the Greeks, what are you basing this on?

Russia maintains its position in favour of Cyprus’ and Serbia’s territorial integrity, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated today during a press conference in the Kremlin.

“Are you not ashamed in Europe of the double standards you are applying to settle such problems?” Putin asked the leaders of European states.

His comments came in response to press questions, as it is widely expected that the US and many EU countries plan to recognise an independent Kosovo, which is set to announce a unilateral declaration of independence on Sunday or Monday.

Asked whether there is a contradiction between Russia’s support to UN Security Council resolutions and his statement, President Putin said that his country opts for the observance of the fundamental principles of international law, which are based on respect of the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of states.

“From this point of view we maintain the same approach towards the Cyprus issue and the problem of Kosovo”, Russian President stressed, adding that “there is a relevant resolution providing that Serbia is entitled to territorial integrity and we have respect this. The same applies to Cyprus that must be a united country and we support this state of affairs”.

Putin argued that there is no contradiction, noting that “a contradiction would emerge if in one part of Europe we form relations based on certain rules and in another part we base them on completely different rules to serve the interests of a country or of a group of countries.”

In such a case, this would lead to chaos and it would be scary, Putin concluded.

Cyprus has been divided since the 1974 Turkish invasion. The Turkish Cypriot self-styled regime in occupied Cyprus is recognised only by Turkey and the UN have called on all states not to recognise it, describing it “legally invalid.”

what was it that VP said? Oh Yeah....Go Go Putin!

So to avoid double standards why dont the EU recognize the TRNC at the same time as Kosovo kill 2 birds with one stone, something is a brewing and I get the feeling the GCs are not gonna like it.

Thats got as much chance as the EU recognising the Basque region as an indepedant nation. Member states of the EU do not have a tendency to halve the territory of their fellow members.

SOmething is definitely brewing, but you'll be the last to know since EU decisions are carried out by its members states and Turkey is not a member as far as I know.

We'll keep you informed, don't worry.

Does thr Basque region have their own government, police and partnership agreements as per the 1960 Cyprus agreements if they do then do then they have a good case for independence.
