Decent pub in Limassol?

Postby Smiler Brian » Sun Feb 17, 2008 3:07 pm

My regular haunt in Limassol has shut down. Anyone know of a good pub, used by Cypriots as well as Brits? Not too keen on the typical tourist pub with "full English breakfast etc etc", they always strike me as being a little bit of England. Must be family friendly as my 11 year old daughter loves to play pool.

Have you tried the Ship Inn on 28 October St.? Mix of Cypriot and Ex-pats at this time of year, pool table, Sky sports and good food.

One of the pubs we regularly go to. Many of the Cypriots there also used to go to the ploughmans.

Bri,
Maybe you need to get out of town and visit the Pissouriana in Pissouri - another pool table, more Sky sports T.V. and very convivial!

Your welcome - it's not all bad in the sticks! Need to look at other places outside Limassol, if you haven't already!
Hope you have a good trip over and hope we can look forward to having your company in Pissouri for a while
Did I tell you I support Tranmere???????

Lived in Platres for 3 years and 3 in Trimiklini. Being an Ipswich supporter I can empathise with you re Tranmere. Looks like 'er indoors can drive this time.
