Nice stone arch...How deep do they pour concrete for thoses retaining walls on the houses in the foreground.

I watched the one in the middle (with the satellite dish) being built…

It doesn’t go much deeper than you can see but it is fabricated in a big ‘L’ shape (with the bottom of the ‘L’ obviously behind the wall). It is then back-filled with earth by way of a counterbalance I suppose…

I love the way they do it,and they must have experience,but I always wonder what would happen if it rained none stop for 10 days.I suppose that will not happen in Cyprus.

God I hope not too. To spoil such a view would be sacrilegous!
