Hi Halil, unless you are saying something to Deniz in Turkish, you have not played the game correctly.

Your word must start with the last two letters of the previous word, in this case IZ - from Deniz

What does derya mean? Believe it or not, I have a student who is half Greek and half Turkish whose name is Derya.

If yavac means slow, then yes, siga siga, means the same.

Derya is derived from Persian. It is twinned with Deniz and used as Deniz Derya.

I know someone called Deniz Derya for real. I was often called that.

Thank you, halil. This girl didn't know the meaning of her name when I asked. Too bad she's graduated; I could have impressed her with my newly acquired knowledge.
